Muntz Audio & Video is a locally owned and operated small business that has been serving locals in Northeast WI since 1938. For over 75 years, we have continuously found ways to remain updated with the newest technology available. Originally known as Acme Radio, our company began operations along the banks of the Fox River, behind the old HC Prange building in East Green Bay.
As one of the consistent innovators of electronics in the Green Bay area, Muntz was the first to sell and service televisions in the area. Our company is responsible for introducing Car-Audio, an invention made by Earl “Madman” Muntz, to the locals.
One of the first Muntz Stereo-Pak under-dash tape decks was installed in a 1967 Dodge Cornet in our installation department. The rest, as everyone says, is history.
